Addresses the age-old dilemma of two possessive women loving the same man -- one being his mother, the other his wife.

BY ROSALEEN DICKSON
ISBN#1-897113-30-7
ISBN#9781897113301

As "Great-Granny" on the Internet for the past twelve years, Rosaleen Dickson has been answering questions from troubled people around the world seeking solutions to interpersonal problems. Most suffer from the age-old dilemma of two possessive women both loving the same man, one being his mother, the other his wife.

Inability to come to terms with the "other woman" not only makes their own lives miserable but also destroys any hope for happiness for the man they both claim. Mothers should read the letters sent in by the wives, and vice-versa, to gain insight into the many manifestations of this tragic situation. Mrs. Dickson, who actually is a great-grandmother seven times over, has suggested means for thousands to improve their plights. This collection of some of the letters and replies is dedicated to those who are still trying.

About the Author
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 1921, Rosaleen (Leslie)
Dickson has been a writer all her life. She earned a BA in Psychology and Sociology at Guilford College, North Carolina, and a Masters Degree in Journalism at Carleton University, Ottawa. Rosaleen taught Print Journalism at Ryerson University, Toronto, wrote a few plays, and has co-authored, edited, and ghost written several books. For thirty-two years, she published and edited The Equity, a rural weekly newspaper in Quebec, wrote for and edited several other Canadian weekly newspapers, and has worked in radio and television. Currently she writes for Embassy, Canada's Diplomacy Newsweekly, in Ottawa.

Married in 1942, now a widow, Mrs. Dickson has three sons, three daughters, sixteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. With the advent of the Internet, and considerable experience in human relations, she became involved in a worldwide counselling service. Though the questions she receives daily cover a wide variety of situations, the mother-in-law/daughter-in-law problems outnumber all the others. This book presents a number of these problems. The value of her comments will be greatest for those who are able to see themselves as others see them.
